If you've come here from 'This Way Up' ...

... you're probably after the info about chickweed, which is on my other blog Wild Picnic. :)

(Or if you're reading this on Sat morning, I'm talking about chickweed to Simon Morton on National Radio's This Way Up - shortly after 1pm today.)

I enjoyed your piece on the radio. We listened to it in the car on the way to a kids birthday party :)

Oh yes! Chickweed, I went on a little hunt around here for some and it has been a topic of conversation with friends lately, your segment will be great to tell them about!

Thanks Johanna for inspiring another wild food meal at my place :) I made a hot salad (mini roasted veg bits with feta cheese & spinach & onion) with chickweed instead of spinach. Worked just fine :) I'm pleased, because my NZ spinach has gone all leathery and my winter spinach isn't ready yet. I do love a freebie food that's so easy to get my hands on!
Thanks for your inspiration :) AGAIN!

Hi Free - it's nice to have you back in the blogosphere!!! Mmm ... your salad sounds delicious.

My NZ spinach has gone a bit yuck this winter too. I didn't know it did that.
